Nara Daibutsu 奈良大仏

Daibutsu, or Great Statue of the Buddha is housed in the Daibutsu-den which is the largest wooden building in the world. The Great Statue of the Buddha is also the largest bronze statue in the world and is widely admired and worshipped as the 'Great Buddha of Nara' (Nara no Daibutsu san).
